Invitation and ...MERCY

I had received some Bible Passages a week earlier. I had not shared them as I did in some other cases. Of emphasis is Malachi. And the attention zoomed on “Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to His temple” (Malachi 3:1) We hear this every Advent Season.

And while we prayed together in a large prayer meeting, some days later, someone reported a voice that shook her while she had prayed alone, “Prepare, prepare, prepare…I am coming soon.” Then as I contemplated the passages that I received earlier in Mal.3:1, an instruction followed, seriously, “Tell persons to prepare their hearts…”

Dear Friends, I would not like to write much; however, I enjoin you to take this seriously. Deep calls on deep.  Our spirit is eager to speak to us; we are made of the body and the spirit. Can we pause a while from vain pleasures and hear what the Lord wants to tell us in our spirit, an introspection. “The spirit of a man is the lamp of the LORD, searching out his inmost being.” (Prov.20:27.) None of us is perfect as to ignore this invitation. Mercy and repentance. Many will remember this short writeup with great gratitude. May the Holy Spirit lead you deeper to all I have left unsaid. “The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord, and of His Christ. He will reign forever and ever!” (Rev.11:15.)
